The pre-wedding ceremonies of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have been a captivating blend of personal touches, reflecting the cultural richness of the families and tradition. Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, both are starting a new phase of life.

The pre-wedding celebrations commenced with an engagement ceremony held at Ambani’s iconic residence, Antilia, in Mumbai. The engagement was a grand affair, attended by Bollywood celebrities, business tycoon, and international celebrities. The venue was adorned with elegant floral arrangements and shimmering lights. Anant and Radhika exchanged rings in a heartwarming ceremony. They dressed in bespoke designer outfits.

Mehndi Ceremony

The mehndi ceremony was held in the expansive gardens of Antilia. Radhika’s hands and feet were adorned with henna designs, symbolizing joy and prosperity. The ceremony was marked by music, dance, and joy. Renowned artists performed and family members shared heartfelt stories and blessings for the couple. The highlight of the mehndi ceremony was the bride’s dance performance which got enthusiastic applause.

Sangeet Night

The sangeet night was a star-studded event, bringing together the best of Bollywood and international entertainment. Held at a five-star venue in Mumbai, the sangeet performances are choreographed by Bollywood’s leading choreographers. The Ambani and Merchant families, along with close friends, put on dazzling performances, adding a personal touch to the evening. Anant and Radhika also took to the stage, showcasing their dance skills and delighting the guests. The sangeet concluded with a grand fireworks display, lighting up the Mumbai skyline.

Haldi Ceremony

The haldi ceremony, symbolizing purification and protection, took place at the Ambani farmhouse in Alibaug. The event was an intimate gathering attended by close family and friends. The couple was smeared with turmeric paste.

Traditional Poojas

In keeping with their deep-rooted cultural values, the Ambani and Merchant families conducted a series of traditional poojas. These religious ceremonies were held to seek blessings and ensure an auspicious start to Anant and Radhika’s married life. The poojas were conducted by priests and were attended by family members dressed in traditional attire.

Second round of celebration on cruise /pre wedding 2

The second round of celebration had begun from 28 May and continued till 1 June in Italy. The celebration started on the cruise which had around 800 guests.

The luxury Cruise was traveled from Italy to the south of France and back to India.The Cruise was landed in France on May 31. For the pre wedding celebration in London, Ambani invited Shakira for a performance. Shakira charged 10 to 15 crore as her fee for performing on this occasion.

Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan with family, Aamir Khan, Ananya panday, Janhvi Kapoor made their presence at the celebration.

The bride to be Radhika merchant wore a custom made Grace Ling couture piece which is carved in 3D and made using Aerospace Aluminum technology. The inspiration for it has come from the concept of Galactic princess.

Wedding date

The couple will get married on July 12 at the Jio world convention center in Mumbai. Their wedding spanning over 3 days shubh vivah followed by shubh Aashirwad on July 13th and mangal utsav or the wedding reception on July 14.
